Detoxification

The ability to detoxify is a major determinant of a person’s level of health. Our environment is polluted with toxins and harmful substances. What is a Toxin?

Molecular structures of toxins are carcinogenic as they interact with human DNA. The World Health Organization has implicated environmental toxic chemicals in over 60 to 80 per cent of all cancer cases.
The body eliminates toxins either by directly neutralizing them or by excreting them in urine or feces, as well as through the lungs and skin. The toxins that the body can’t eliminate build up in our tissues. The liver, intestines, and kidneys are the primary organs of detoxification. The goal of detoxification is to:

  1. Reduce the amount of toxins and pollution entering our body, therefore easing the burden on our detoxification organs
  2. Promote healthy eating, nutrition, and supplementation to help our body efficiently detoxify the toxins
